Ashley Pavone (Co-Owner / Director)
Ashley started her dance journey at 3 years old in the same building that Synergy Dance Co. now calls home. She has participated in numerous conventions with master teachers and competed and placed at many regional dance competitions. She is grateful for the amazing performance experiences she has had, which include local community events, several NFL games, and having been part of four professional New England dance teams. Ashley has a great love and a comprehensive resume for teaching dance to all ages from the dancers walking into the studio for the first time to the collegiate level as the former coach of the Bentley University Dance Team. She studied Dance and has a Bachelor's degree in Arts from Dean College. Ashley has been a part of the Boston Cannons Dance Team for 12 seasons, serving as director and choreographer for the past 10, where she met her best friend and business partner, Nicole. Dance has always been a huge part of her life and she is excited to be sharing her passion, experience, and knowledge with the next generation of dancers.

She has performed at many exciting venues, such as at local community events and festivals, at several NFL games, and aboard international cruise ships. She studied English, Anthropology, and Dance as an undergraduate and earned a Master's degree in English from UMass Boston. She has an extensive teaching resume beyond the dance studio as well, having worked as an adult fitness instructor, an elementary school teacher, and a college professor. Nicole was a part of the Boston Cannons Dance Team (through which she met her best friend and business partner Ashley) for 8 seasons, serving various roles including captain, choreographer, and assistant coach. Dance has been a life-long constant and a primary source of joy for her. She is excited to help foster this same love of dance in future generations!

In 2014, she moved into her current position of Gymnastics Director, overseeing and managing all gymnastics programming including the competitive team. Amanda graduated from Monty Tech with her certificate in Graphic Communications. She also studied at Franklin Pierce University and has two Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education. Meredith began dancing at the age of 5, taking a weekend ballet class as many children do; however, dance quickly became more than just a hobby for her. As she grew up, she added on more classes to her weekly schedule and became involved with as many extracurricular activities as her studio provided, touring with the dance team down to Disney multiple times and taking her training to the next level by joining the competitive team. She completed the three-year Dance Educator’s Training Course program offered by the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston, receiving both a performance-based scholarship and an award for demonstrating the most aptitude for teaching based on an adjudicated teach-in simulation. She has studied everything from ballet and pointe to ballroom and music theory, taking classes from master teachers and dancing alongside the best her generation had to offer on the floors of conventions. She has studied Archaeology and Geology at Mercyhurst University and Sociology at Fitchburg State University. In her post-college life, she continues to pursue her passion of working with children. She’s excited to share her love of dance with the students of Synergy Dance Co. and looks forward to making this season a spectacular one!
Renea took her very first dance class at 7 years old. From the moment she stepped foot on the dance floor, her passion for dancing formed, and she instantly knew dance would have a big impact on her life. Renea has competed in several dance competitions and conventions and has attended numerous master classes. In 2005, Renea not only continued dancing, but she also started teaching and choreographing for dance classes in the very same studio she grew up in. In addition to studying Accounting at Bridgewater State University, she has continued to train in dance and especially loves the teaching aspect of it. Renea is excited to teach at Synergy Dance Co., where she can continue to share her talent and love for dance amongst all generations. Because dance has given Renea so much power and strength—in and outside of the dance studio—she wants to spread its joy and empower others. She encourages everyone to get up and dance because you never know where it will take you!
